Google has a fugly new favicon.ico. I liked the old one because of its relative colorfulness, and I find it somewhat puzzling that they chose to use a gray gradient in the new version.

The process of properly establishing the Finnish Pirate Party took a leap forward this weekend.
A blog covering the party’s constitutive meeting in real time has however been suspended by Google/Blogspot. Xuenay, one of the party leaders writes the following on his personal blog:

Tämän tekstin julkaisin alkuperäisesti kommentina Tietoja koneesta-blogilla, jossa se toimii vastauksena Googlen uuteen Health-projektiin liittyvään lausuntoon.
Terveystietojani en luovuttaisi Googlelle tässä vaiheessa, mutta mielestäni tietojen saaminen ja antaminen tarkasti määriteltävien suostumuksien avulla, jostain hyvin toteutetusta kansalaisten asiointipalvelusta, olisi kätevää. Kattava periaatekeskustelu luottamuksesta jättiyhtiöiden tai valtion tietoturvaa kohtaan olisi kuitenkin tärkää.
