About
Me
I’m Thomas Nybergh, the person whose visual appearance is revealed by this fairly recent photograph. My contact details are on the front page.
I’m a geek with a general interest in technical aspects of everyday life. My Finnish citizenship and passion for not wasting military resources currently obligate me to perform non-military/civilian service until early fall ‘08. Not that I complain much; my work at a web host for non-profits and NGOs allows me to play with computers most of the time.
Despite of not being in a mood suitable for further autobiographical writing, I invite you to take a look at my music listening stats for the last week:
Web sites
- This site is a self publishing project with the goal of using the Wordpress web logging tool to spread useful information to individuals with interests similar to mine. Web serving is done from a shared box over at Dreamhost’s (L.A., CA, USA).
- Omglog, an experimental collaborative link blog where I and a few others save stuff we consider interesting, funny, bizarre or otherwise notable together with short notes and an attempt at sensible tagging. Not suitable for everyone.
- My public file repository, an archive of information that should be publicly available.
- Recreational and Medical Internets, a collection of Internet memes and humor. Not suitable for everyone.
Important privacy information
Please be aware that I, in addition to logging server activity, may use third party services such as Google Analytics and Feedburner to collect statistics about visitors and feed subscribers, or to display ads. I may also place links to affiliate programs. If you’re concerned about your privacy on the web, try removing ads, blocking third party cookies and not executing third party scripts or “crapplets”. Use Tor if you don’t want any sites to log your ip address.
